Through out Bitcoin’s existence, there has been a constant tug of war between old school Bitcoin Hodlers to new school Institutional buyers looking to acquire their stack. We have seen many instances where F2 pool has dumped many of it’s Bitcoin reserves onto open exchanges, causing sell offs and FUDD across the Bitcoin market. While some old school Bitcoiners hold on tight (the cryptophunks), many continue to sell off to institutions. Remember there’s only 21 million bitcoin and when these institutions buy, they hold for the long term. Its a much different market psychology than the crypto bull run in 2017, as we are on the cusp of mass adoption for blockchain technology and digital assets.
